Taking inspiration from the Japanese block-printing tradition, our Takumi bathware collection borrows from this centuries-old art form. Typically appearing on Kimono, paper screens, lacquer panels and wallpaper, Japan’s timeless repeat patterns lend themselves perfectly to a relaxing bathing experience.
Patterns are delicately etched onto the surface of our MarbleForm™ bathware by hand, creating an interesting contrast in texture and resulting in a delicate play on light and reflection. The Takumi technique can be applied to any of our products and bespoke pattern requests are welcomed.
